CanaryLedger (“we”, “us”) provides a fee breakdown calculator and paid shop audit reports for online sellers. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to reach us.

What we collect

Today the public calculator runs entirely in your browser. We do not require an account, and we do not receive the order numbers you type into the calculator.

When you order a Shop Health Audit or ask to be notified about a subscription, we collect the email address you send us, plus any payment CSV or shop export you choose to attach. Payment for the audit is processed by our merchant of record, Creem; we do not store your full card number.

How we use your data

Seller-uploaded CSV files are used only to produce your report. We strip buyer names and addresses before analysis. We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third parties except the processors needed to host the site and take payment: Cloudflare (hosting) and Creem (checkout and payouts).

Retention

CSV files and working copies used for a report are deleted within 30 days after delivery. We may keep your email and a record of the purchase for accounting, support, and legal obligations.

What we do not collect

We never ask for your marketplace login. We do not intentionally collect buyer personal information. If a CSV still contains buyer fields after upload, those fields are stripped before analysis and are not kept in the delivered report.
